64Tucson Sailing Club Fall Regatta in San Carlos, Mexico November 1-2, 2008
Sailors in the Tucson Sailing Club's fall regatta in beautiful San Carlos, Mexico, enjoyed two beautiful days of racing November 1 & 2, 2008. However, as a result of the light to moderate wind the Race Committed shortened the race course on both days. The sailors also enjoyed pre-and post race social events scheduled by TSC.I took the pictures in this Hub from aboard the venerable Cal 36 Patricia II which sails out of the Marina Real in San Carlos.

Brought back fond memories for me, Ralph! I spent a couple of months in San Carlos several years ago. Always thought I'd like to live there. The novel I am currently writing takes place in a shantytown fishing village a few miles up the road from San Carlos. Maybe you will want to read it someday. Lucky you, you get to sail in those beautiful waters!
nice pics dad. any photos of the new sails?
The usual super shots. Looked like you had air to me..............But on Lake St Clair there would be small craft warnings.
The landscape is nifty, sure a good looking spot to sail..............
Great pictures Ralph! I was skipper of the Cal 2-27 with yellow stripes. We enjoyed the close racing with another Cal. Wonderful boats aren't they? Give me your e-mail and I'll send some pics of you guys.
The skipper of Patricia II is not only an excellent skipper, but a very good photographer! We has the pleasure of having Dana crew aboard Bandito during a previous regatta.
You certainly captured the essence of what makes our Mexico regatta weekends such fun!!
Thank you, The Burgards (Bandito owners)
