Merle Hazard, Country Singer, aka Jon Shayne, Tennessee Investment Advisor

Merle Hazard combines his skills as an investment adviser and a country-blues singer and composer to tell the story of the 2008 Wall Street meltdown in song. His clever lyrics and plaintive country blues style evoke humor about the fiasco perpetrated by the Wall Street banksters and hedge fund operators many of whom live in "The Hamptons" on Long Island. Somehow he managed to get Arthur Laffer, of the infamous "Laffer curve" to appear in one of his videos.

John Rich sings his contemporary blues song "Shutting Detroit Down."

Very funny but sad...lets hope Ben Stein gets his way and there is an investigation into Goldman Sachs and the manipulation that is going on.

Amen! Ben is one of my favorites. Goldman was selling bad fish (SIVs).
