Thanks for the comments. Kimberly, yes I took the pictures Saturday night while sitting on Night Heron, an impeccably restored NY 32 built the year I was born. The fireworks provided a reasonable approximation of the firebombing of Dresden in WWII. They were preceded by a thunderstorm and 50 MPH winds.

I am trying to learn myself how to shoot and am hooked, just love black and white!
These shots I will say again are spectacular
